AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift is not perfect. Despite her many talents, including singing, songwriting, acting and baking, the pop superstar has shocked some social media users who were left disappointed by her "terrible" handwriting.
The Grammy Award-winning artist recently expressed her gratitude to Dave Portnoy for having her back amid criticism for her endorsement of Kamala Harris. Giving the social media personality his flowers, she wrote a message that was delivered by her own brother Austin Swift during her "Eras Tour" concert in Miami on Saturday, October 19.
Being an avid fan of Taylor, Dave bragged about the letter on his podcast and Instagram account. She shared pictures of the handwritten message that read, "Dave, I'm so happy to have you at the show tonight!"
"I wanted to say thank you for always being so supportive, so loyal, and for having my back when a lot of people didn't," the 34-year-old continued to write. "I hope you have a blast tonight!! Love, Taylor," she concluded, signing the note along with a heart.
Dave captioned the post, "What a gift from @taylorswift to @stoolpresidente at last night's Eras Tour."
While many Swifties congratulated Dave on getting the recognition from his favorite idol, others were more focused on the pop superstar's handwriting. They were mostly taken back by her signature and handwriting, which were deemed "terrible" and failed to meet their expectations.
"That signature is wild lol," someone commented on Dave's post. Another reacted, "The signature is not what I'd expect." A third person chimed in, "This is amazing but low key she has terrible hand writing."
Another troll said, "I didn't think anyone could have worse handwriting than me till I saw this." A fifth critic claimed, "looks like a 6 year old wrote the whole thing."
Someone, however, defended Taylor, noting her massive net worth. "That a 6yr olds $1.6billion signature," the fan said. "Congrats Dave & thanks for being a Diehard Swiftie & ALWAYS having Moms back!!!"
Dave previously defended Taylor after she publicly endorsed Kamala Harris for president. "As the king of the Swifties people are asking me what I think of her Kamala endorsement. I don't care at all. People can vote for whoever they want in this country," he posted via X, formerly known as Twitter, on September 11.
The Barstool Sports founder declared, "How somebody votes will never change my opinion of a person. I’m voting the other way but to each their own."
