AceShowbiz - Doja Cat apparently has no problem with wearing less outfit during her concert. The "Paint the Town Red" hitmaker decided to sport a risque outfit when she performed onstage at her recent show.
On Friday, October 18, the 28 year-old female hip-hop artist, whose real name is Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, became a hot topic on X, formerly known as Twitter. X users were talking about her choice of style when she took the stage in front of a packed audience.
Many social media users criticized Doja over the matter. One in particular argued that she might have shown some skin to sell more tickets, writing, "Sex sells , at this point we are seeing female artists become singing strippers," prompting other users to agree.
Another chimed in, "Our society is normalizing degeneracy n pushing all women to be as naked possible and making them believe there will be no consequences. They get lots of attention like this but no respect, ppl see them as just sex and never a classy lady or wife. Women you're ruining yourselves."
Meanwhile, a third wondered, "But this is selling to females, not males. I don't understand why female artists wear nothing and simulate sexual moves on stage to a vastly female majority crowd, and why the females keep buying it." A fourth penned, "Most aren't talented enough so they do anything , she actually is so I think she just wanna do this s**t lmao."
The comments came after one X user uploaded a video from Doja's gig. In the short clip, it could be seen that she was delivering her hit single titled "Say So" on the stage. While rapping, she also did some dance moves. At one point, she touched her chest before placing her hand on her waist. She then moved her hand down to her butt cheek and grabbed it.
For the particular performance, Doja left little to the imagination in an all-white bikini set. She rocked a bra top, which came with two straps, and a pair of skimpy undies. She also donned a pair of mules and black-framed clear glasses. In addition, her long blonde hair cascaded down her back.
