Back in March, the 'Truth Hurts' songstress' former employees filed a lawsuit against her, accusing her of creating hostile workplace and sexual harassment.

AceShowbiz - Lizzo dodged an uncomfortable question amid hostile workplace and sexual harassment lawsuit against her. The "About Damn Time" singer was attending a female empowerment event when she was asked about the allegations in an interview.

Lizzo, however, refused to go into much detail about the accusations. "You know, I don't want to talk about things like that," she shared during Fortune's "Most Powerful Women" event. "This isn't the space for it."

The "Truth Hurts" songstress added, "We're celebrating female CEOs and powerful women. This isn't really the space to talk about the negative things that happen to us. 'Cause so much negative stuff happens to powerful women, and this is not the space."

When the interviewer insisted that it's important for powerful women to address their own allegations in their own words, Lizzo replied, "Right. As I agree with you, I don't think this is the platform for that."

It should be noted that Lizzo might also not be able to discuss the matter due to legal reasons as the case is still ongoing. Fans also thought Lizzo did the right thing with one saying, "She tried to railroad her. It wasn't the platform and it's an ongoing case. She can't speak on it."

However, some others blasted Lizzo for the response. "So where is the space to talk about it ?" one asked. Someone noted, "I totally disagree, that was absolutely the space to address it in a GENERAL manner.. ESPECIALLY if the allegations are NOT true, it would ve gave insight to the challenges and barriers women in high positions have to navigate through…"

Despite the big accusations, Lizzo shared in an Instagram post back in May that she's "the happiest I've been in 10 months." She elaborated, "The strange thing about depression is you don't know you're in it until you're out of it. I'm definitely not all the way as carefree as I used to be.. But the dark cloud that followed me every day is finally clearing up."

"My smile reaches my eyes again and that's a win. I thought my album was finished.. but I gotta get some of these good vibes off in a banger real quick. Thanks for your patience," she concluded.
