AceShowbiz - All that drama was for nothing, apparently. After Jayda Cheaves was accused of shading ex Lil Baby's alleged new girlfriend, the said woman took to her Instagram comment to reveal the nature of her relationship with the rapper.

Setting the record straight, Kiya K revealed on Thursday, October 10 that she had no romantic relationship with Lil Baby. "Those gifts were not from him," she wrote on her Instagram Stories, referring to the luxury bags that she received as her birthday gifts. "We do not date."

Kiya's post came after Jayda was forced to defend herself amid claims that she shaded Kiya. Fans believed that Jayda, who shares a child with Lil Baby, mocked the nurse by posting a picture of her designer handbags after Kiya posted her birthday haul.

Jayda, however, shut down the speculations in an episode of her "Act Normal" podcast, where she took a lie detector test. When her co-host and friend Dess Dior asked Jayda, "In your new recent post about Chanel, were you being shady towards that other girl?" the latter answered, "No." The machine determined that Jayda was telling the truth.

"Did you make the post because of her set-up?" Dess Dior continued asking. To that, Jayda explained, "I made that post for me and me only because I now like Hermes. That's my go-to brand. That's all I've been buying. You see the f***ing material."

Jayda doubled down on her statement in an Instagram post on October 5. At the time, she denied ever following Kiya on social media. "I never followed her," she told a fan. "She wore and supported my brand. I love all my customers."

Kiya, meanwhile, sparked dating rumors with Lil Baby after she posted videos of her celebrating her birthday while showered with expensive gifts. In her videos, she showed off Chanel bags, Hermes sandals as well as more gifts.

Fans quickly took to the comments section to talk about the alleged romance between Lil Baby with Kiya as one of them wrote, "Oh Lil Baby done up the scoreeeee okayyy!!! Baby fine & she's an RN. Oh u deserve everything Ms. mamas." While Kiya didn't directly comment on the speculations at the time, she fueled the rumors when she liked the comment.
