"I was that girl that was shopping at Bebe," Ciara shared with Page Six. "It was one of the stores that you had to go to, always, and you knew you were going to get the best glam looks for an affordable price."

Ciara's personal connection to Y2K fashion is evident in the collection, which includes pieces inspired by her own closet. "The whole Y2K nostalgia energy definitely poured into this collection," she told Us Weekly. "I wanted to make sure that I honor that energy, that nostalgic feeling that I think Bebe gives us all."

The "Body Party" chart-topper has always been known for her bold fashion choices, and her Bebe collection is no exception. "I think it's only right to expect people to have opinions in the job that I have. But you know what's amazing about critics? There's never been a statue of a critic," she said, dismissing the negative comments she sometimes receives on social media.
