"There were set rumors early on that they had intense chemistry even when not filming," a source tells PEOPLE. However, the insider clarifies, "They didn't start hanging out romantically until a few weeks ago though," adding that Jeremy "really seems into Molly."

The source also details how the pair usually spend time together. "She spends time at his house. They go on lunch dates and seem to have a great time," the source explains. "They're affectionate, often in deep conversations and seem curious to get to know each other better."

It's also said that Molly has been "spending a lot of time in L.A.," which is where Jeremy lives when he's "not working," even though she's living in New York City.

On the other hand, Molly was spotted stepping out in L.A. on Thursday, September 27. Going makeup-free, the actress was seen wearing a purple shirt black shorts and cap for the outing. She also had a green juice in one of her hands as she walked down the streets with a female friend.

Jeremy and Molly first sparked romance when they were snapped locking lips in Los Angeles on Wednesday. The two seemed to be more than a casual fling as they were seen house hunting last Friday, September 20.

The couple hopped into a white Toyota Rav 4 outside a residence that was for sale. Jeremy, who was getting behind the wheel, was pictured holding a flyer for the private residence.

For the outing, the 33-year-old Emmy winner, who previously dated Rosalia, opted for a casual yet polished look with light-wash jeans and a striped button-down shirt, complemented by white sneakers. Molly, meanwhile, wore ruched white shorts, a gray crewneck sweater. She completed her look with a blue New York Yankees baseball cap, sunglasses and a black purse.
