Kate Winslet shares behind-the-scenes secrets about the iconic 'Titanic' door scene, including the shallow water depth and her trips to the bathroom while filming.

AceShowbiz - Kate Winslet has revealed some never-before-shared details about the filming of the famous "Titanic" door scene. During a Q&A at an advanced screening of her upcoming film "Lee", Winslet opened up about the iconic moment where her character, Rose, floats on a door while Leonardo DiCaprio's character, Jack, eventually drowns.

"That was quite an awkward tank," Winslet said, describing the filming of the scene. "To burst the bubble, it was waist height at that time."

Winslet revealed that she could easily go to the bathroom during filming. "I was regularly like, 'Can I just go for a pee?' And then I get up, get off the door, walk to the edge of the tank, sort of 20 feet away, and I literally have to fling my leg over and climb up and come and get back on the door again. It's terrible," she said.

She added, "Anyway, yeah. So it was waist-high. Leo, I'm afraid to say, was kneeling down."

Winslet joked that director James Cameron would be "ringing me" for revealing the secrets of the film. "Actually, the thing that was amazing about the edges of the tank was it was an infinity tank. So there was constant water rushing, and you could hear the constant sound of water," she said.
