AceShowbiz - Sabrina Carpenter has kicked off her "Short n' Sweet Tour". On the opening night of the tour, the "Please Please Please" hitmaker looked confused when there was an interruption due to "technical difficulties."
On Monday night, September 23, the 25-year-old singer/actress entertained her fans at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. During the concert, which was attended by many concertgoers, she belted out her songs, including "Nonsense" that she released in 2022.
At one point during the performance, Sabrina's microphone appeared to have been turned off. When she was standing on a platform, she continued singing the song while looking confused, apparently wondering why the mic was off. At the same time, the platform was going down before she disappeared from the stage.
In response, the concertgoers screamed out loud. Later on, there was a message being displayed on a huge screen on the stage. The message read, "We apologize for the interruption of our program due to technical difficulties."
Following the technical issues, it was said that Sabrina "will not be doing 'Nonsense' outros during her 'Short n' Sweet Tour'." The claim prompted social media users, who may be going to her upcoming shows, to express their disappointment on the matter.
Making use of X, formerly known as Twitter, one in particular wrote, "I'll miss the outros. they truly were so iconic," adding a crying face emoji. Another chimed in, "Sad to hear the 'Nonsense' outros won't be part of the Short n' Sweet tour! But technical difficulties happen-Sabrina's still going to put on an amazing show as always!"
Meanwhile, a third complained, "Cutting the best part of the show? That's like taking the punchline out of a joke. Fans live for those outros, and now it's just 'Nonsense' without the spice. Let's hope this isn't a permanent change, because that's what makes her shows unforgettable!"
After taking the stage in Columbus, Sabrina is set to fly to Toronto, Canada and perform at the Scotiabank Arena on September 25. She will make tour stops in Detroit, New York City and more cities before taking a break in November.
