AceShowbiz - Ashton Kutcher seemingly has dodged a bullet way before Sean "P. Diddy" Combs' wild parties were exposed. The actor could be seen refusing to talk about the bashes in an interview which resurfaced online following the hip-hop mogul's sex trafficking crimes.
Ashton was asked about the matter during his appearance on "Hot Ones" back in September 2019. In response to the question, the husband of Mila Kunis told host Sean Evans, "I've got a lot I can't tell." He added before sighing, "So, uh."
"Can't tell that one, either," Ashton continued while laughing. "I'm actually cycling through them. … Diddy party stories, man - that was some weird memory lane thing."
While he dodged questions about Diddy's parties, the "That '70s Show" star talked about their "bizarre" friendship during the interview. Ashton claimed that the Bad Boy Records founder told him that Ashton was forbidden from pranking him.
"I was like, 'I don't know what to tell you; everybody's on the table,' " Ashton, who co-hosted the "I'll Be Missing You" rapper's annual white party in 2009 to raise awareness for Malaria No More in 2019, recalled. "He's like, 'Not me. I'm off the table.' So that started our conversation."
The actor added that the two "became fast friends" who "used to hang out and watch football together." He additionally recounted the time Diddy came over to his house when he was about to go for a run.
"He's like, 'Oh, I'll go for a run with you,' " the "Just Married" star said. He added that "about halfway through" their jog, the rapper admitted that he was "running out of gas" and asked Ashton to "slow down" because he didn't want to look like he was losing in front of paparazzi.
His bad athletic performance was apparently the reason why Diddy decided to run the "New York [City] Marathon" that same year. "And so he just started immediately training for the New York [City] Marathon," shared Ashton. "Even when he's that close to humility, it becomes a driver."
