The 'Unstoppable' actress and the Hollywood actor/filmmaker reunite at their Los Angeles office where they are joined by the famed divorce lawyer, one month after J.Lo filed to end their marriage.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck want the best for their split. The estranged couple has reportedly hired famed divorce lawyer Laura Wasser after the singer/actress filed to end their two-year marriage.
On Monday morning, September 23, the "If You Had My Love" songstress and the Oscar-winning writer/producer reunited at their WeHo office building in Los Angeles. They arrived separately and Laura was also seen entering the same building.
Sources tell TMZ that J.Lo and Ben have been using Laura to mediate their divorce and it has been going on for several months. This, however, is the first time they were seen having a meeting with the disso queen after the Bronx native filed for divorce last month.
J.Lo and Ben, who tied the knot in a Las Vegas wedding on July 16, 2022 following a whirlwind romance, did not have a prenup. The two stars, whose combined assets were listed as "unknown" in her divorce papers, have had multiple joints projects since they rekindled romance in 2021.
Recently, the 55-year-old mother of two stars in "Unstoppable", a biographical sports drama film about wrestler Anthony Robles, who was born with one leg. The movie was produced by Ben and his longtime friend Matt Damon through their production company Artists Equity.
Ben has been acquainted with Laura before as the lawyer also mediated his divorce from his first wife Jennifer Garner back in 2018. The 52-year-old actor/filmmaker shares three children, Violet, 18, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12, with the "Elektra" star, but has none with the "Marry Me" actress.
Despite their split, J.Lo and Ben continue to put on a united front for the sake of their children. Recently, the estranged pair reunited to attend a back-to-school event with their kids. On Tuesday night, September 17, they were spotted at the event to support their respective children at their Los Angeles area school.
Just a few days before, J.Lo and Ben were spotted having brunch together with their children at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. While they appeared tense in public, the couple was reportedly very cozy when the paparazzi cameras were away.
