Despite his initial reluctance to leave rehab, Taylor is focusing on becoming a better person and being a supportive father.

Cartwright has expressed her need for the divorce, prioritizing the well-being of Cruz. In March, she stated that she deserved better after a period of conflict.

Despite their divorce, Taylor and Cartwright have remained cooperative in co-parenting Cruz. Taylor has shared an honest glimpse of his life on social media, including his efforts to assist Brittany with her Halloween decorations. He expressed his appreciation for a homecooked meal prepared by Brittany and revealed that he has moved into his own townhouse in the same neighborhood as fellow "Vanderpump Rules" star Tom Schwartz.
