AceShowbiz - Kesha, formerly known as Ke$ha, has subtly reacted to Sean "P. Diddy" Combs' arrest. Upon learning that the hip-hop artist was put in jail for sex trafficking and racketeering charges, the "Tik Tok" hitmaker celebrated the arrest in a new video.
On Wednesday, September 18, the -year-old songstress made use of TikTok to share her subtle reaction to the news. She uploaded a video featuring her song "Tik Tok", on which she disses the record producer/record executive, who remains behind bars after a second judge rejected his request for release on bail.
On the track, Kesha sings, "Wake up in the mornin' like, 'F**k, P. Diddy' (Hey, what up, girl?)/ Grab my glasses; I'm out the door, I'm gonna hit this city (Let's go!)/ Before I leave, brush my teeth, with a bottle of Jack/ 'Cause when I leave for the night I ain't comin' back."
In the 8-second clip, it could be seen that Kesha was having fun with a group of friends at what appeared to be a house. At one point, they simultaneously showed their middle fingers. The singer was mouthing, "F**k, P. Diddy," while looking straight at the camera.
Kesha, who stood in the center of the video, then rolled her eyes before blowing a kiss. Near the end of the short footage, she waved her hand and flashed her radiant big smile, seemingly showing that she was satisfied with the arrest. Along with the video, she let out a middle finger and two diamond emojis.
The clip was later shared by blogs via Instagram before Kesha received mixed responses from social media users. One in particular slammed her, "We don't f**k with her either. They be quiet on black issues but when it comes time to tear black people down they pop up quick as s**t. They not like us."
Meanwhile, other users came to Kesha's defense. One of them stated, "This comment section is so tired... excusing and defending him because hes black.... this is not a race issue. And Kesha also experienced domestic violence with her own record label so she feels this Cassie situation more personally than anyone tbh." Another pointed out, "Majority of the people in the comments were raised to protect abusers.. and it shows."
