AceShowbiz - Camila Cabello may soon join Taylor Swift's famous squad. The Havana-born singer/songwriter is believed to have been taking the pop superstar's side amid the latter's years-long feud with Kim Kardashian.
According to a new report, the "Havana" songstress has rejected to work with the reality TV star's fashion brand. She allegedly turned down an offer to front SKIMS campaign after Kim bullied Taylor in the past.
Further showing her solidarity with the 34-year-old Grammy winner, the 27-year-old singer was known to have refused to take a photo with "The Kardashians" star at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards. A picture from the event showed four of fifth Fifth Harmony members posing together with the 43-year-old beauty, but Camila was nowhere seen with the rest of her then-bandmates.
Camila did attend the ceremony though, hitting the red carpet with Ally Brooke, Normani, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui, who went color-coordinated in black outfits.
While Camila has never spoken publicly of her stance amid Kim's feud with Taylor, many have praised the "Bad Things" singer for the way she has subtly supported her fellow singer. "Thats why i support Cami," one person commented. Another wrote, "She's so real."
A third reacted to the report, "That's a real friend right there." A fourth exclaimed, "Love her for this!" Someone added, "Good for her." Gushing over the "Senorita" singer, a sixth person said, "smart Camila."
"Eff Kim & Skims! I am even more fond of Camila now!" someone declared. Another slammed Kim as writing, "Finally someone with a councious Kim is so expliotitive I hate celebrities giving her promotion [sic]."
Kim and Taylor's longstanding feud stemmed Kanye West's song "Famous", on which he made jabs at the "Fortnight" singer. Taylor claimed she did not approve, but Kim later released an edited phone call, ostensibly supporting her then-husband Ye's account.
Recently, Taylor seemed to reignite the feud with her song "thanK you aIMee", which notably has the letters K, I, and M capped up in the song's title. She later released an updated version of the "TTPD" track with a revised title, "thank You aimEe", that swapped out the capital letters "KIM" with "YE."
