The pro-dancer couple made a stunning appearance at the Walt Disney Company's Emmy Awards Celebration, marking one of their first public events since Erbert's emergency craniectomy.

AceShowbiz - Derek Hough and Hayley Erbert looked radiant as they attended the Walt Disney Company's Emmy Awards Celebration at the Music Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 15.
Hough, 39, exuded elegance in a classic black tuxedo with a peacock-feather-like lapel, while Erbert, 29, dazzled in a silver minidress adorned with feathers and a jeweled bodice and hem.
Their appearance marked a special occasion for the couple, as it was one of their first public events since Erbert underwent an emergency craniectomy in December 2023. In December 2023, Erbert was rushed to the hospital after experiencing symptoms of a cranial hematoma, which occurs when blood collects in the skull. A week later, Hough posted an update revealing that his wife needed a skull implant to replace the piece of skull removed during the craniectomy.
Despite her health scare, Erbert made a miraculous recovery and resumed the Symphony of Dance tour with Hough only a few months later. In an emotional Instagram post following the end of the tour, Erbert expressed her gratitude for the support she received during her recovery.
"This tour has reignited many parts of me that have been dim for so long. I am so grateful to still be here, with you all, doing what I love," she wrote.
