The 'Shotgun Wedding' actress is reportedly in negotiations to buy the famous Azria Estate in Holmby Hills, but it is not going to be a simple purchase since the estate is currently at the center of a legal dispute.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lopez may have found her dream home. The singer/actress, who has filed for divorce from her husband Ben Affleck, reportedly has her sights set on a Los Angeles mansion following the end of their marriage.

The Bronx native, who has been house hunting since returning from the Hamptons in August, appears to be interested in the famous Azria Estate in Holmby Hills. Sources with direct knowledge told TMZ on Wednesday, September 11 that the star is in negotiations to buy the house and is close to striking a deal.

The 30,000-square-foot estate is listed for $55 million, but the "Atlas" star is said to be trying to negotiate the price down to somewhere in the range of $30 million to $39 million. The house once belonged to late BCBG owner Max Azria, hence the name.

The property sits on a 3-acre lot and boasts 14 bedrooms with gardens, a greenhouse, a guest house and an infinity pool with a sauna. It also has an in-home theater and game room.

But the purchase isn't going to be a simple one. The Azria estate was put up for auction earlier this year and billionaire investor Ron Burkle placed the winning bid at $30 million. However, he's reportedly now locked in a lawsuit against Max Azria's widow Lubov Azria over an alleged breach of contract.

The legal dispute started in May, months before J.Lo started showing renewed interest in the home in August. She is currently negotiating with both Ron and Lubov to potentially strike a deal.

The "Love Don't Cost a Thing" songstress may have grown fond of the house following the filming of her movie "Atlas". The Azria Estate served as a filming location for her Netflix movie. She also took a look at it back in March 2023, when she and Ben were looking for a home together.

J.Lo and Ben eventually purchased their Beverly Hills mansion, known as Crestview Manor, for $60.85 million in May 2023 after a two-year search. They are currently putting it on the market for $68 million.

On August 20, the 55-year-old singer filed for divorce from Ben after 4 years of marriage. She cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split and listed April 26 as the date of their separation. The "If You Had My Love" hitmaker requests to drop her estranged husband's last name in her divorce petition.
