AceShowbiz - Juvenile is apparently team Lil Wayne. The "Set It Off" rapper weighed in on the online chatter after Kendrick Lamar was announced as the headliner for the Super Bowl LIX Halftime show next year in New Orleans instead of Tenuchi.

Making use of his social media account, Juvenile share his perspective on the situation while slamming NFL for the decision. "So, everybody want me to speak on this Super Bowl situation," he said in a video shared on Monday, September 9. "Look, I'm mad about the situation just like y'all man. But look, my hatred is toward the NFL."

The 49-year-old added, "Not really the people who booked the halftime show. I'm mad at the people who hired the motherfuckers who booked the halftime show. I feel like y'all should step in. Ya'll booked 11 Super Bowls in New Orleans. Y'all have yet to put a hip-hop act from New Orleans on the dam Super Bowl."

"I feel like every time y'all come here y'all should put somebody from our city on the s**t." Juvenile went on to explain that while this issue isn't something new that "this time it hit hard when you don't have Lil Wayne on the show," the "Slow Motion" emcee continued. The veteran artist then asked, "How the f**k y'all don't have Lil Wayne doing the halftime show?"

He later called out NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, saying that he "needs to get it right." Concluding his video, Juvenile dubbed Lil Wayne as "somebody that really deserves it" and "somebody who can bring out multiple artists from all genres."

Juvenile was among hip-hop stars sharing their two cents on the 2025 Super Bowl debacle. Prior to this, Birdman took to X to seemingly share his disappointment that Wayne, Nicki Minaj and Drake are not playing the Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show in New Orleans next February. Also among those who joined the chatter were Cam'ron, Master P and Funkmaster Flex.
