AceShowbiz - After the NFL announced that Kendrick Lamar will be headlining the Super Bowl Halftime Show, Pusha T showed support on Instagram. However, he couldn't resist taking a jab at Drake, sharing a quote from Lamar's announcement that seemed to target his ongoing feud with the Canadian rapper.
Lamar's statement, "You know it's only one opportunity to win a championship - no round twos," stirred the pot, especially given Drake's recent Instagram activity where he hinted at a "Game 2."
Pusha T, who had a notorious feud with Drake in 2018 over "The Story of Adidon", added to the fire by agreeing with Lamar's statement, saying, "This is true..." with a shrugging emoji.
Lamar's diss track "Euphoria" also referenced Pusha and Drake's beef, putting all parties back in the spotlight. To add to the excitement, Lamar recently performed several Drake diss tracks live and is rumored to be working on a new album.
Meanwhile, DJ Akademiks went on a rant on social media, accusing Jay-Z of colluding against Drake by helping Lamar host an even bigger version of The Pop Out event. Akademiks also reignited the Lamar vs. Drake feud, claiming that Lamar was "petty" and "hates the f**k outta drake."
Kendrick Lamar's Super Bowl performance will take place at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on February 12, 2025. It's unclear whether Lamar will bring any guests out for his performance, but Master P has suggested that New Orleans legend Lil Wayne could make an appearance.
