AceShowbiz - Quavo and Ty Dolla $ign have teamed up with composer Brian Tyler for the single "If I Fall", a rock-rap anthem featured on the upcoming "Transformers One" soundtrack. The song, which includes Tyler's vocals in the chorus, serves as the closing credits for the animation film set to release on September 20.
Quavo raps, "I'm in my prime, Optimus (Optimus), I'm goin' big, Megatron," in a nod to the "Transformers" franchise. According to Tyler, the song expresses gratitude towards those who have supported him and rebukes those who have turned away.
Tyler said, "This concept is the core story of 'Transformers One', so it's a synergistic song." He praised Quavo and Ty Dolla $ign for their "incredible vocals."
The collaboration reunites Ty and Quavo, who have previously worked together on tracks such as "Long Time", "Pineapple", "Trap Paris", "Ring Ring", "White Sand" and "? (Where)".
Tyler has composed music for numerous blockbuster films, including several "Fast and Furious" installments, "The Super Mario Bros. Movie", "Crazy Rich Asians" and Marvel productions.
