AceShowbiz - In a recent interview on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert", 49-year-old rap mogul 50 Cent opened up about his decision to lead a celibate lifestyle and remain unmarried. "When you calm down, you can focus," 50 Cent said. "I've been good to me."
Colbert questioned why 50 Cent would continue to accumulate wealth without someone to share it with. The rapper explained that money can complicate things and attract people with ulterior motives.
50 Cent added that romantic desire can cloud judgment for most men and maintained that "I am safe. I'm not a happy hostage. I'm here. I'm free." He emphasized, "I made some mistakes, just not that one."
Without a romantic partner, 50 Cent dedicates his time to fitness. The rapper discussed spending his days in the gym, revealing that he can lift up to 105-pound dumbbells. When Colbert suggested that his solitary lifestyle might be lonely, 50 Cent replied, "I want someone I can love in my life too, just not right now. I'm fine."
In addition to his personal life, 50 Cent also discussed his debut novel, "The Accomplice", and his upcoming TV series based on the book. He additionally recounted his recent performance in Kazakhstan, where he was met with Michael Jackson-like enthusiasm.
50 Cent's unconventional lifestyle and outspoken views have sparked both admiration and criticism. However, his choice to prioritize his own well-being and independence serves as a reminder that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to happiness and fulfillment.
