AceShowbiz - Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright were pictured reuniting for "The Valley". As the exes could be seen filming the Bravo reality series on Friday, August 30 amid their divorce, the tension was reportedly high.

In photos obtained by TMZ, the estranged couple was filming a scene in a field. Brittany opted for a gray tank top and black leggings as she had a plaid shirt wrapped around her wrist. Jax went color-coordinated with Brittany, adding a black baseball cap to his look.

The outlet claimed that the pair kept their distance throughout the filming. Brittany was seemingly unbothered by their separation as she was seen laughing with her friends. At one point, Brittany's friend pulled her away when she was seen getting too close to Jax.

A witness, meanwhile, noted that when Jax was filming with Kristen Doute, he allegedly opened up about his rehabilitation stint in July. The source claimed he overheard Jax saying that he admitted himself to a rehab because he's going out of control.

Brittany filed documents in a California court to divorce Jax on August 27, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split. She is seeking primary legal and physical custody of their three-year-old son, Cruz, while being open to visitation rights for Jax. Brittany also requested the court to waive spousal support for both parties.

Reflecting on the rocky road, Brittany stated in an episode of their joint podcast "When Reality Hits" that they were taking "time apart" for her mental health. "I know on my last podcast, I alluded to many marriages going through rocky times," she explained. "Yes, marriages in general are very hard and I've had a particularly rough year this past year. Jax and I are taking time apart and I made the decision to move into another home."
