AceShowbiz - Nicki Minaj has landed in hot water over her response to a fan's recent question. The "Anaconda" hitmaker was dubbed "rude" by several media users for answering the inquiry about when she would release the cover for the "Pink Friday 2" deluxe version.

The said individual asked Nicki on X, formerly Twitter, by writing, "When you gonna post the cover???" In response, the 41-year-old wrote back, "Whenever I want to. When are you taking the next steps in your education boo?"

The user then clapped back at Nicki by writing, "I didn't say nothing wrong. English is my [3rd] language, it's just a question frm a fan that love and support you. f**k you." The person added, "Joking or nuh I will never ever let anyone disrespect me not even her like it or not #kissmya**."

Many people agreed with the disappointed fan, with one commenting, "Nicki's response was uncalled for." Another argued, "What does the fan's education level have to do with anything? Whether he/she got a GED or a PhD, they are still a supporting fan."

"Her comment was totally uncalled for. I agree shawty didn't say anything wrong. What does her education have to do with her question? She only asked when was Nicki post the cover to her album but of course her fans will see nothing wrong with this," a third argued. "This is exactly how you would loose your fans with this kind of nasty attitude."

Nicki herself has announced the release date for her deluxe album "Pink Friday 2: Gag City Reloaded". The deluxe edition will drop on September 13, coinciding with the second North American leg of her world tour.

Nicki's "Pink Friday 2 World Tour" will resume in Philadelphia on September 4 and extend through cities like New York, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Dallas, Los Angeles and more. Add to this the success of the first North American leg, which grossed $67 million by selling 439,000 tickets, and it's clear that Nicki is far from done electrifying her audience.
