Kate Winslet will headline a new Hulu drama series titled 'The Spot,' that follows a surgeon and her husband as they suspect her involvement in a hit-and-run death.

AceShowbiz - Kate Winslet is announced to star in and executive produce "The Spot," a crime drama series ordered straight to series by Hulu. Created by Ed Solomon, the show centers on a successful surgeon (Winslet) and her schoolteacher husband who suspect her responsibility in the hit-and-run death of a child.
Solomon created, wrote, and will showrun "The Spot," while also serving as executive producer alongside Winslet and A24. Winslet, known for her Academy Award-winning performance in "The Reader" and multiple Emmy wins, has also starred in "Titanic," "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind," and "Mare of Easttown."
Solomon's writing credits include "Men in Black," the "Now You See Me" franchise, and the HBO series "Mosaic." He also penned the script for "No Sudden Move" and the six-hour limited series "Full Circle."
In "The Spot," the couple's quest for truth unravels a web of suspicion and dark secrets, testing their resolve and relationship. The series will co-star Ray Liotta, Benicio Del Toro, and Brendan Fraser.
Winslet's latest projects include the HBO miniseries "The Regime" and the upcoming "Avatar: Fire and Ash." Solomon is repped by CAA, while Winslet is represented by CAA and United Agents in the U.K.
