AceShowbiz - Pooh Shiesty may need to reevaluate his life first before trying his luck on love. The rapper has been put to shame by social media users after shooting his shot with Cardi B from behind bars.
The Bronx native, who has filed for divorce from her husband Offset despite currently pregnant with their third child together, recently went live on Instagram. As the "Bodak Yellow" hitmaker shared an update on her life amid the split, Pooh did not miss the chance to flirt with her.
While Cardi was talking about her living situation instead of her love life, the incarcerated rapper tried to make his presence be known by dropping a comment during the livestream. In a screenshot obtained by Say Cheese!, he wrote, "I'm 5 mins away baby open the door."
Pooh, born Lontrell Donell Williams, Jr., might be having a wishful thinking rather than saying his true condition as he is currently serving time for federal conspiracy charges concerning an October 2020 shooting in South Florida. While someone, who runs his account, might be relaying the message from him, the flirty message has sparked plenty of jokes, with many urging the rapper to know his place.
"Cardi B is not officially divorced, and she's also pregnant, what's Pooh Shiesty after CB for," someone wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. Another reminded, "this [ninja emoji] has 15 more years to spend in jail. he ain't home any time soon."
A baffled user asked, "He's take offset's wife from behind bars ??" A fourth person told the 24-year-old artist, "Relax pooh she wouldn't downgrade." A fifth pointed out, "Bro is not getting out," while another confused user asked, "Not shooting his shot from jail is he getting out ?"
Cardi herself seemingly didn't notice Pooh's message during the livestream. Instead of addressing it, she set the record straight on where she lives, revealing that despite owning a home in Atlanta with her estranged husband Offset, she’s not the biggest fan of the southern city and barely spends time there.
The Grammy Award winner shared that her downtime is mostly spent at her residence in New Jersey but she's in the process of adding to her residential portfolio by hopefully finding an apartment in New York.
