AceShowbiz - Jonathan Majors turned heads as he supported his girlfriend Meagan Good at the premiere of her newest project "Terry McMillan Presents: Forever". Held at the DGA Theater in Los Angeles on Tuesday, August 20, the event also saw actor Taye Diggs making an appearance. Good, 43, and Diggs, 53, were there to celebrate the launch of their new Lifetime movie.
For the premiere, Meagan Good made a stylish statement with her sultry yet sophisticated look, featuring a black bralette top with bedazzled trim, paired with a high-waisted pencil mini skirt and ankle-strapped heels. Her long curls added to her glamorous appearance, while a dash of pink eyeshadow provided a vibrant pop of color.
Jonathan Majors, 34, opted for a more colorful ensemble, donning a multi-colored two-piece set, a scarf, and a teal hat. Diggs complemented the pair with a grey suit, a black and white striped shirt underneath, and a tan brim hat for a touch of unique flair.
In recent months, Meagan Good has been a steadfast support for Majors as he navigated legal challenges and controversies stemming from the spring of 2023. These included his legal proceedings culminating in a jury finding him guilty of one count of misdemeanor third-degree assault and one count of second-degree harassment, related to a 2023 altercation with his then-girlfriend Grace Jabbari.
Despite the public scrutiny and criticism their relationship has faced, Good remains resolutely supportive. In a conversation with PEOPLE this summer, she emphasized her rebellious nature when it comes to standing by her beliefs and those she cares about, stating, "Those who want to give you the benefit of the doubt will. And those who don’t, won't. And there’s nothing you can do about it."
"Terry McMillan Presents: Forever" centers on Johnnie (played by Diggs), who returns home after a military tour only to be met with divorce papers. His life takes an unexpected turn when he falls for local policewoman Carlie (played by Good) after she pulls him over for speeding. This film follows Good's recent role in Tyler Perry's drama thriller "Divorce in the Black", where she starred alongside Cory Hardrict.
