Four men, including two alleged Florencia 13 gang members, face multiple charges related to the May 25 killing of the 'General Hospital' actor and are scheduled to be arraigned on August 29.

AceShowbiz - Four men have been formally charged in connection with the fatal shooting of "General Hospital" actor Johnny Wactor. The suspects are identified as Robert Barceleau, 18; Leonel Gutierrez, 18; Sergio Estrada, 18; and Frank Olano, 22.
On May 25, Wactor was shot and killed after confronting suspects allegedly attempting to steal the catalytic converter from his vehicle. According to prosecutors, two of the suspects, Barceleau and Estrada, who were associated with the Florencia 13 gang, shot Wactor during the confrontation.
On Monday, August 19, Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon announced the charges. Barceleau has been charged with murder with special circumstances during an attempted robbery, as well as additional charges including attempted robbery and grand theft. If convicted, he faces life in prison without parole. Estrada has been charged with murder with the use of a firearm, attempted robbery and grand theft with a firearm.
Gutierrez has been charged with attempted robbery and grand theft with allegations as a principal armed with a firearm. Olano has been charged as an accessory after the fact to murder, receiving stolen property, and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
The arrests came after months of investigation, including the execution of over 50 search warrants. Law enforcement officials cited jailhouse conversations in which the suspects implicated themselves in the crime.
Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon expressed his commitment to justice for Wactor's family and friends. He emphasized that those responsible for violent crimes will be held fully accountable for their actions.
Wactor's family and friends have been vocal in their demands for justice and have called for increased support for law enforcement in Los Angeles. The actor's mother, Scarlett Wactor, urged the city to take action to address violent crime and support victims.
The suspects are scheduled to be arraigned on August 29.
