Responding to complaints about Kesha's name being removed from their collaborative track, the 'Back in Time' rapper hints that he and the songstress are on good terms.

AceShowbiz - Pitbull appeared to have hinted that he and Kesha are on good terms. Responding to complaints about Kesha's name being removed from their collaborative song, the "I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)" rapper showed love to the songstress, formerly known as Ke$ha.

Recently, fans of the 37-year-old songstress noticed that her name was removed from the YouTube page of the official music video for her joint track with Pitbull titled "Timber". The title of the visuals read, "Pitbull - Timber (Official Video)" without mentioning her moniker despite the feature.

The fans did not hold back from complaining to Pitbull on X, formerly known as Twitter. One in particular wrote, "Removing Kesha's name from the Timber music video is nasty work. Especially when she's the main reason the song is popular & when she still hasn't been paid the millions she's owed in royalties.. Pitbull's team needs to fix this."

Another chimed in, "She might've been featured but people know this as a Kesha song more than a Pitbull song. It's like removing Jesus from the bible." A third penned, "Pitbull has a lot of audacity considering kesha's verse is the only reason this song is even memorable."

In the meantime, Pitbull's devotees came to the spitter's defense. One of them stated, "Anyone who thought Pitbull randomly woke up one morning, decided to log into his YouTube account, and remove Kesha's name from an 11 year old song is actually stupid."

It did not take long for Pitbull to respond to the complaints. The 43-year-old Cuban-American hip-hop artist tweeted, ".@KeshaRose and I have an incredible song together. Nothing will change this. Team Pitbull is looking into this matter. Always nothing but love for Kesha, Dale!" seemingly suggesting that he was not the one removing the name.

Pitbull and Kesha joined forces to create "Timber", which they launched back in October 2013. The joint track serves as the lead single from his EP "Meltdown". The song was later announced by Billboard as "the 90th-most popular song of the decade." In addition, it landed at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for three consecutive weeks.
