AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift allegedly is "desperate" to "make amends" for her fans, famously known as Swifties, in Vienna. It has been reported that the "All Too Well" hitmaker may "add extra shows" in the city after canceling her "Eras Tour" stops there due to terror threats.
On Thursday, August 15, The U.S. Sun revealed that the 34-year-old superstar has "talked with her team about how to fill the void." Speaking to the media outlet, a source, who claimed to be close to the singer, spilled that "there are three options, and a decision will be made in the next few weeks."
Despite noting that "the plans are in the 'early' stages," some insiders told the outlet that "the option of making her next video in Vienna has been discussed, along with potentially staging the first dates of the 'Eras Tour' 2025 in the city." One of the insiders stated, "All the ideas are on the table. There have been many talks, and they are ongoing."
The outlet went on to share, "There is also the possibility of adding two new dates at the end of the resumption of her North American tour." It added, "And starting them in the afternoon in the United States and beaming them live to the stadium in Vienna, where it would be around 9 P.M.."
The revelation came days after Taylor canceled her sold-out "Eras Tour" shows from Thursday, August 8 to 10 at the Ernst Happel Stadium in Vienna, Austria following the arrest of terror plot suspects, including a 19-year-old Austrian named Beran A.. Beran "planned to carry out an attack at the sold-out gig on Thursday or Friday" with "his accomplices" who are 17 and 15 years old.
On August 15, Taylor returned onstage for the first time since the terror threats. She hit the stage at the Wembley Stadium in London, England, where she was joined by her pal and fellow singer Ed Sheeran for the acoustic part of the show. During the gig, the two belted out their 2012 collaborative song "Everything Has Changed", prompting hysterical screams from a packed audience.
