Other defendants include Mark Chavez, another physician, and Erik Fleming. Chavez and Fleming have also pleaded guilty to charges related to ketamine distribution, with Fleming specifically facing a charge resulting in Perry's death.
These serious charges come with hefty penalties. Both Iwamasa and Fleming could face between 15 to 25 years in prison after their guilty pleas. Chavez could face up to 10 years while Sangha, if convicted, is looking at a mandatory minimum of 10 years to a life sentence.
