AceShowbiz - Blake Lively, producer and star of the highly anticipated film "It Ends With Us", made her mark on the movie's final cut, contributing her "feminine" touches. Despite clashing with Justin Baldoni on set, Lively's edits, feedback and contributions to various aspects of the film, including music, costumes, and dialogue, were incorporated into the version seen by moviegoers.
Sources claim that Lively was uncomfortable with Baldoni's behavior on set, particularly regarding her postpartum body after giving birth shortly before filming. Baldoni and Lively have not promoted the movie together or posed together at premieres, fueling speculation of an on-set feud.
Lively has openly discussed her creative input in interviews, revealing that her husband, Ryan Reynolds, wrote an important scene in the film. However, she admitted to a creative difference over the use of Lana Del Rey's "Cherry" in the movie. Lively stated that "they" asked her to remove the song, which she believes should have stayed in due to its relevance to her character's emotional journey.
Despite the reported tension, sources denied claims that the conflict led to two separate edits of the film, asserting that one cut was chosen after considering both Lively's and Baldoni's suggestions.
However, in a recent interview, Baldoni hinted that Lively may be better suited to direct a potential sequel, suggesting that she is ready for such a role.
