The 'Bachelor' alum takes to social media to react after her father Mark Anderson is cast as a contestant on the upcoming first season of 'The Golden Bachelorette'.

AceShowbiz - Kelsey Anderson has spoken out after her father, Mark Anderson, has been cast as a contestant on the upcoming first season of "The Golden Bachelorette". She took to her Instagram account to show her reaction to the news.

Kelsey reacted to the news on her Instagram Stories, writing, "Welllllll, would you look at that." She also called her father "the sweetest" in a separate post.

Mark Anderson first gained attention during his daughter's appearance on "The Bachelor" in 2008. He was praised for his kindness and the love he showed his late wife, Denise, who died of breast cancer in 2018.

Now, Mark is embarking on his own journey to find love on "The Golden Bachelorette". The show will feature 20 men competing for the heart of Joan Vassos, who met Bachelor Nation during Gerry Turner's season of "The Golden Bachelor".

Kelsey has previously expressed her support for her father's decision to appear on the show, saying, "I want my dad to get out there; I want my dad to date."

Mark and Joan have a lot in common, having both experienced the loss of a spouse. Joan's husband of 32 years, John, passed away in 2021.

Joan says she is looking for a man who is kind, a family man, and has a sense of adventure. She believes Mark may have those qualities, as she once joked to Kelsey, "You could be my stepmom one day."

The first season of "The Golden Bachelorette" will air Wednesdays this fall on ABC.
