The star of 'The Real Housewives of Orange County' initially aspired to become the 'Golden Bachelorette' but ended up joining Bravo's dating series 'Love Hotel'.

AceShowbiz - Shannon Beador, at 60 years old, had initially expressed interest in being the first The Golden Bachelorette. She approached producers of "The Bachelor" franchise with her idea, but they ultimately went with someone else from within the Bachelor Nation.

However, Beador's pitch did not go unnoticed. Andy Cohen, producer of the Bravo franchise, was intrigued and invited her to join "The Love Hotel", an upcoming dating spin-off series.

"The Love Hotel", which filmed in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, features four single Real Housewives, Shannon Beador, Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby and Luann de Lesseps. Beador described the show as having a "story" because the participants are older and have experienced life's challenges, which makes for compelling television.

Despite not becoming the Golden Bachelorette, Beador hinted that she may have connected with someone on "The Love Hotel". She also expressed excitement about meeting Joan Vassos, the first Golden Bachelorette.

Currently, Beador is embracing her new life and enjoying the filming process in New York City, where two of her daughters reside. She has formed strong bonds with her fellow castmates and looks forward to the show's premiere sometime next year.
