Adele shares her thoughts on the energetic displays of breakdancing at the Paris Olympic Games, especially the unique performance of the Australian dancer.

AceShowbiz - British singer Adele has expressed her unbridled joy at the debut of breakdancing as an Olympic sport. During a concert in Munich, she paused to share her enthusiasm with her audience.

"I have to ask you because it's all that me and my friends have been talking about since the Olympics started," Adele said. "I think it's the best thing that's happened in the Olympics the entire time."

The singer highlighted the captivating performances of dancers like Ami of Japan, who won the gold medal. However, one particular b-girl, Rachael Gunn, stood out for her unique stylings.

"I can't work out if it was a joke, but either way, it has made me very, very happy," Adele admitted. "Me and my friends have been laughing for 24 hours."

Gunn, known as Raygun, captured hearts worldwide with her unorthodox moves, earning viral recognition on social media. Despite not securing any points from the judges, she remained proud of her artistic expression.

"Creativity is really important to me," Gunn explained. "I go out there and I show my artistry. I was never going to beat these girls on their dynamic moves, so I wanted to be different and creative."

Adele's passion for the Olympics was not limited to breakdancing. Earlier in her residency at the custom-built Adele Arena, she paused her show to watch the Women's 100M sprint final on the big screen for her fans.

While breakdancing will not return as an Olympic sport at the 2028 games in Los Angeles, its debut at the 2024 Olympics has undoubtedly left a lasting impression on fans and celebrities alike.
