AceShowbiz - Hollywood icon Blake Lively graced the cover of Vogue's September 2024 issue, channeling a glamorous jewel thief inspired by the film "To Catch a Thief". In a cinematic editorial spread directed by Baz Luhrmann, Lively sported an elaborate Cartier necklace once belonging to the legendary Elizabeth Taylor.

The sparkling bib necklace, featuring Burmese rubies mounted in platinum and 18k gold, was originally gifted to Taylor in 1957 by her then-husband, Mike Todd. The piece holds a poignant history, as Taylor wore it to a concert honoring Michael Jackson in 2001. Following her passing, it was auctioned by Christie's in 2011 for a staggering $3,778,500.

Lively expressed her excitement at handling Taylor's iconic jewelry, describing it as surreal. The necklace, along with matching earrings and a bracelet, had been a symbol of Taylor's tragic love story with Todd, who died in a plane crash in 1958.

Beyond the iconic necklace, Lively also turned heads at the premiere of her upcoming film, "It Ends With Us", by stepping out in a glittering Versace gown previously worn by Britney Spears in 2002. The rainbow-hued dress was a bold statement piece, complemented by a pink corseted Versace minidress at the afterparty.

Lively's sparkling attire and impressive jewelry choices showcased her admiration for Hollywood icons and her ability to effortlessly embody different eras and styles.
