AceShowbiz - During the August 5 episode of The Bachelorette", Jenn Tran's ex-boyfriend Matt Rossi traveled to New Zealand to express his desire to win her back. Despite Matt's romantic gesture, Jenn ultimately sent him home after admitting that she saw her future with the other contestants.

After Matt's departure, Jenn announced that instead of a cocktail party, they would go straight into a rose ceremony. Sam, Marcus, and Devin had roses from the previous week, and Jenn awarded roses to Grant, Jeremy, Jonathan, Spencer, Dylan and Austin. Thomas and John were eliminated.

The next day, Jenn took Jonathan on a one-on-one date that included a helicopter ride and a steamy hot tub session. They bonded over their shared experiences of having emotionally abusive relationships and feeling responsible for their family at a young age. Jonathan received a rose from Jenn.

For the group date, Devin, Sam, Marcus, Spencer, Jeremy, Dylan and Austin competed to be named the "most valuable farmer." Devin won the competition and spent extra time with Jenn before the afterparty.

However, at the afterparty, Austin expressed his disappointment with his lack of connection with Jenn and decided to leave the show. Austin's departure left Jenn feeling insecure, but the other men reassured her that she was valued and worthy of their attention.

During Grant's one-on-one date, they went horseback riding and opened up about their family relationships. Grant shared his father's struggles with addiction, while Jenn discussed the impact of her father's behavior on her dating life. Grant also received a rose.

In a second consecutive week without a cocktail party, Jenn held another rose ceremony. Grant, Jonathan, Sam, Devin, Marcus, Jeremy and Spencer all received roses, while Dylan was eliminated.
