The 21-year-old daughter of Kimora Lee Simmons, who claimed in April that she'd lost modeling jobs due to anorexia rumors, declares that she will 'be going back to any kind of fashion week unless [she's] mentally prepared for it.

AceShowbiz - Aoki Lee Simmons has gotten candid about her unpleasant experience in the modeling industry. Calling it a "starving place," the Internet personality claimed her last fashion show had ruined her mental health.
The 21-year-old got things off her chest via Instagram Story on Friday, July 5. "Hate to say it hope I don't sound ridiculous, but I will not be going back to any kind of fashion week unless I'm mentally prepared for it and feel loved and supported," she wrote on the top of her selfie. "The last one ruined my mental health until now."
"And I know LOTS in fact MOST models go through so much more including my own mama. But it's not for me," she continued. "I'm a personal person, I take things personally, I'm honest and open and take things hard when I feel I was kind and received genuine cruelty (I don't just mean not booking a job cause that's life!) but interpersonal cruelty. It was dark af.
"And then from this very dark virtually STARVING place I made a bad decision after being coerced for YEARS and the entire internet," the daughter of Kimora Lee Simmons added. "Dragged me through the mud for it. I was doing my best."
In a follow-up post, Aoki let out a picture of her fridge. She explained, "But the fridge is fully stocked. The health is fully prioritized and no one is going to make me feel like I need to starve to be loved ever again."
Back in April, Aoki revealed that she lost her modeling job due to anorexia rumors. Sharing her struggles with body image and the impact these comments have had on her career, she implored her followers to stop commenting that she looks anorexic, as it is both harmful and inaccurate.
"Guys, can you please stop saying I'm anorexic on the internet," Aoki said. "I've been getting fired from modeling jobs because people think that I'm a bad influence and I'm just really not."
Assuring her followers that she eats "a lot of food," Aoki divulged that she does "four kinds of martial arts," can "rock climb," and "can shoot a bow and arrow." She further lamented, "It's not funny. That's why I was crying... The more stressed I got, the more weight I lost… I couldn't get a job because of it."
