AceShowbiz - Nicki Minaj might have been creating new music despite her busy schedule amid her "Pink Friday 2 World Tour". The "Barbie World" raptress appeared to have teased an unreleased single on her social media page.
The 41-year-old hip-hop artist seemingly wanted to know if her fans, who are famously known as Barbz, like her new music or not before launching it. On Thursday, July 4, she made use of Instagram to share a never-before-seen video that apparently featured a snippet.
In the short clip, it could be seen that Nicki, whose real name is Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty, was mouthing lyrics on the song while playing with her hair. At one point, she put her diamond necklace closer to the camera and stuck her tongue out.
In the recording itself, Nicki could be heard singing, "So don't act like it's easy for you to just leave like that/ (Like that, like that, like that)/ So don't act like it's easy for you to miss me like that/ (Like that, like that, like that)/ Said you know me, I know you and you don't gotta be like that/ (Like that, like that, like that)/ 'Cause you know nobody else is go come through and sit like that/ And make sure are you okay."
The "Anaconda" hitmaker continued, "Baby, are you okay? (You okay?)/ Let me know now if you okay (Okay)/ Text, call if you okay (Okay)/ Kiss it all away, make it okay (Okay)/ Let me, let me know now, shorty/ Let me know now if you okay (Okay)/ Gotta let me know now, shorty/ Let me, let me know if you okay (Okay)."
"You know I gotta stay down/ Locked down, stay around," she added. "You know I like to play with you/ But you know I don't play around/ You know I keep it one hundred/ You're number one and that's one hundred/ Everybody else want something/ But I gave everything and want nothing."
Along with the footage, Nicki might have hinted at the title of the single. The raptress, who collaborated with fellow rapper Drake for "Moment 4 Life", simply wrote in the caption of the post, "Baby, are you ok?"
