New images from the set of James Gunn's upcoming Superman movie have surfaced online, revealing the costumes of Green Lantern a.k.a. Guy Gardner and Hawkgirl.

AceShowbiz - The highly anticipated DCU "Superman film is currently in production, and fans have been eager for a glimpse of Nathan Fillion and Isabela Merced in their respective roles as Guy Gardner a.k.a. Green Lantern and Hawkgirl. Now, new images have shed light on the characters' costumes.
The images, shared on social media, showcase Fillion sporting a distinctive bowl cut and a unique variation of Guy Gardner's comic book costume. His suit features a prominent Lordtech logo, as does the costume of Mr. Terrific (Edi Gathegi). Merced, on the other hand, is seen in a comic-accurate Hawkgirl costume, complete with her signature mace.
While the context of the scene being filmed is unknown, the Man of Steel (David Corenswet) and Mr. Terrific are also present. Hawkgirl and Mr. Terrific are depicted taking flight together, while Superman and Guy Gardner engage in conversation below.
James Gunn's Superman reboot also features a star-studded cast, including Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, and Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho. Sara Sampaio will portray Eve Teschmacher, while Pruitt Taylor Vince and Neva Howell will play Jonathan and Martha Kent.
The film is set to explore Superman's dual life as Clark Kent and the Man of Steel, suggesting that these other heroes will serve as his "super friends." However, it remains unclear whether they will form an official team.
Superman is scheduled for release in the United States on July 11, 2025, as the first installment in James Gunn and Safran's upcoming DCU, which kicks off later this year with the animated "Creature Commandos" series.
