AceShowbiz - Jason Mraz made it to the final two on "Dancing with the Stars" season 32, but he wasn't as excited about the prospect as viewers might have thought. As he revealed on Jesse Tyler Ferguson's "Dinner's On Me" podcast, Mraz actually tried to sabotage his own chances of winning because he missed his cat so much.

"Two or three weeks in, I realized I'm probably going to be here the whole time, and I'm terrified, and I have to cancel all my plans for the entire rest of the year, and I'm missing my cat terribly," Mraz said.

He tried to convince his friends to stop voting for him, reasoning that it was the only way he could get off the show early. At one point, he even told producers that he was ready to go home. However, they told him that it was out of their hands and he would have to see it through.

Despite his mixed feelings, Mraz still ended up coming in second place behind winner Xochitl Gomez. Looking back, he joked that he could have come in first if he had "given a s**t." He said, "So, I would do it all over again if I could, and I would try really hard."

Mraz also opened up about his decision to come out as bisexual later in life due to fear of how the news might be received. Growing up in conservative Virginia, he felt pressure to conform and keep his sexuality a secret.

"I still took with me the conservative street that I grew up on, and that was very hard to ignore or to break out of," he said. "I was very shy and scared of what my family would say, or what my hometown would think or just whatever."

However, Mraz has since found acceptance and love, and he credits his openness about his sexuality for helping him grow and learn more about himself.
