AceShowbiz - Jennifer Garner became overwhelmed with emotions as her daughter Violet graduated from high school. The 52-year-old actress, who shares Violet with her ex-husband Ben Affleck, was seen crying during the ceremony, as captured in a series of photos.

"I was a wreck the whole month leading up to it," Garner confessed on "Today with Hoda and Jenna". "Every awards ceremony, every final, everything, I just cried and cried at everything."

However, on the day of graduation, Garner's tears were replaced with joy and pride. "The day of (graduation) was so happy," she said. "There was nothing to be other than just so proud and happy."

Garner's mother, Patricia, shared that she too was emotional when her three daughters left home. "When they went to college, that's another thing," she said, adding that she felt a sense of finality when Jennifer left for college.

Despite Garner's emotional turmoil, she managed to embrace the joy of the occasion. She and Affleck threw Violet a graduation party in Los Angeles and celebrated her milestone. Garner shared several photos of herself and Violet on Instagram, capturing the emotional moments.

Affleck and Garner also support their other two children, Seraphina and Samuel, through their milestones. The former couple recently attended Samuel's middle school graduation, with Affleck's wife, Jennifer Lopez, also present.
