The Tesla mogul confirms the birth of his third child with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis, rejecting claims of secrecy and insisting his family and friends are aware of the baby.

AceShowbiz - Elon Musk, the tech tycoon renowned for his groundbreaking ventures from Tesla to SpaceX, recently celebrated the birth of his 12th child with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis. Contrary to the rumors, Musk clarified to Page Six that the birth was far from a secret, stating, "All our friends and family know. Failure to issue a press release, which would be bizarre, does not mean 'secret.' "

The new arrival marks Musk's third child with Zilis, who works for his brain implant company, Neuralink. However, the name and sex of the baby remain undisclosed.

This latest addition to Musk's large family surfaced via a Bloomberg article titled, "Elon Wants You to Have More Babies," which explores Musk's preoccupation with birth rates.

Musk has been vocal about his concerns over population decline, remarking to Page Six, "Many countries are already well below replacement rate, and the trend is that almost all will be. This is simply a fact, not a 'debunked theory.' " He emphasized the importance of maintaining a fertility rate of 2.1 to prevent population collapse.

Musk's advocacy for larger families is not new. The Tesla mogul previously welcomed twins Strider and Azure with Zilis in November 2021, just a month before the birth of Exa Dark Sideræl with alt-pop singer Grimes via surrogate. The existence of Exa, endearingly referred to as Y, came to light in a Vanity Fair article when the child began crying during an interview with Grimes.

Despite his growing brood and ongoing custody battles - most notably with Grimes over their three children - Musk remains committed to being an involved father. He has been seen publicly with his children, including his 4-year-old son, X (born X Æ A-12), at events like the Super Bowl and the Cannes Lions advertising festival.

Beyond his recent offspring with Zilis and Grimes, Musk shares other children with his ex-wife, Justine Musk. They have twins Griffin and Vivian, and triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian. Tragically, their eldest child, Nevada, died at 10 weeks of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).

Elon Musk's family dynamics and public concern over population decline continue to capture attention. With his ever-expanding family, Musk is inarguably a figure to watch, not just for his innovations, but for his personal life and beliefs that challenge societal norms.
