AceShowbiz - Sexyy Red doesn't want any drama with fellow rap stars. After her sister accused Latto (previously Mulatto) of copying her dance moves, the "Poun Town" raptress took to social media to set the record straight on where things stand between her and Latto.

Hopping on Instagram, the 26-year-old set aside time to assure fans that she was cool with Latto. "I didn't say nun about this girl period," she penned. "I don't have ah problem with @latto."

Red's sister brought up the allegation after Latto shared an Instagram video of her dancing with team on Wednesday, June 19. "Not making a penny from Birthday Bash. I invested it all back in the show. So get yo tickets. Don't waste my money. Link in bio. Also, figuring out a live stream for my ppl who don't live in the A. So, hold tight!!!! @hot1079atl," the "Big Energy" femcee captioned the post.

Catching wind of the footage, Red's sister shaded Latto in the comment section. "So, your team got you dancing now cause Sexyy Red, right?" she asked.

This was not the first time Latto faced the copycat accusation. Back in August 2023, one Twitter user shared side-by-side videos of Latto and Sexyy Red performing similar dance moves. In another tweet, the individual argued, "Latto doing Sexyy Red emotes & mimicking her stage presence is the most cringeworthy s**t I ever seen."

While Latto has yet to respond to the claim, some people came to her defense. "This is regular vibing moves. If people go outside they will see most women do this when they don't wanna do too much while rapping. Sexy red didn't invent anything," one person wrote.

Another penned, "I'm not an expert, but I'm fairly certain other artist have done this exact movement on stage way before these two." Someone else chimed in, "Not the same. And latto was put first."
