AceShowbiz - The football world has been rocked by the unexpected passing of Larry Allen, one of the most revered offensive linemen in NFL history. At just 52 years old, Allen died suddenly while on vacation with his family in Mexico, and the cause of death has not yet been disclosed.
Jayla Allen, Larry's eldest daughter, is heartbroken over the loss of her father. In an emotional Instagram post, Jayla shared a series of photos capturing cherished moments with her dad. "I don't know how to write this message and what to say. I am in complete shock," she began. "I feel like this is a nightmare and I can't wake up."
"Every night I would pray to keep you safe. This doesn't feel real dad. I am heartbroken and don't know where to go from this."
In her tribute, Jayla highlighted her father's loving nature and his unwavering dedication to their family, which includes her mother, Janelle, and her siblings, Larry III and Loriana. "I was blessed with the best father who loved me unconditionally," she wrote, adding, "The pain of losing you will stay with me forever."
Larry Allen was celebrated not only for his incredible strength and athleticism on the field but also for his gentle demeanor off it. A first-ballot Hall of Famer, Allen spent 14 seasons in the NFL, primarily with the Dallas Cowboys, earning 11 Pro Bowl selections and a Super Bowl title in 1996.
Teammates and friends, including Troy Aikman and Michael Irvin, have expressed their grief over Allen's passing. "He was a HOF offensive lineman that dominated opponents regardless of the position played. Off the field, he was a gentle giant that loved his family. Rest in Peace LA," wrote Aikman.
