AceShowbiz - Joe Tiger is coming at Kim Kardashian for not helping him in fighting for his prison release. In a new interview, the former star of "Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness" slammed "The Kardashians" star for ignoring his plea.
Speaking to Daily Mail from Santa Rosa County jail in Florida, the incarcerated zookeeper accused Kim of racism. "I've called Kim Kardashian plain out," the 61-year-old said. "Am I too white for her help? Because all I need is her voice. I don't need her money."
Joe, who is serving his prison sentence for conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire, added, "I don't need her to spend her whole life helping me do this. All I need is for her to pick up a phone and call the White House and say, 'Look, I'm behind Joe's movement. This is good. The system is messed up.' "
Joe first pleaded with Kim, who has been a vocal activist for criminal justice reform, to help him get out of the jail in 2020. In an open letter, he asked the SKIMS founder to "call President Donald Trump to pardon me."
In February of this year, he commented on Kim's sister Kourtney Kardashian's Instagram post in hopes the Poosh founder would bring his case to Kim. "Please have your sister help me get out of this hell hole," he said at the time, garnering more than 10,495 likes.
Not stopping there, Joe reached out Kendall Jenner. "Have your sister reach out please," he asked on May 19. "I want to show her the videos of them all admitting to perjury. She helps those wrongfully incarcerated right?"
The next day, Joe wrote again to the model, "There's 600 unseen video files uploaded they gave my attorneys of them secretly recording each other talking about how they set me up and admitting they lied... @kimkardashian I'm innocent and in prison, help me out. This isn't right," Joe wrote.
Kim has been doing her best to follow in her late father Robert Kardashian's footsteps by being a lawyer. When attending a TIME100 Summit in 2023, the "American Horror Story: Delicate" star was asked if she would consider a life out of the public spotlight. To the question, the reality TV star said she would be "happy being an attorney full time."
Meanwhile, Joe was arrested back in 2018. He was later sentenced to 22 years in federal prison on 17 federal charges of animal abuse and charges related to his role in a 2017 murder-for-hire scheme to kill Carole Baskin, a prominent animal rights activist in Tampa, Florida.
