Through an emotional Instagram post, Monet shared with her fans, "I am gutted to share that I will no longer be able to perform at Governors Ball (NYC), Roots Picnic (Philadelphia) or Blavity (Nashville) this June. I am so sorry!!"

Monet emphasized the difficulty of the decision, explaining, "Candidly I have been dealing with some ongoing health issues that have to be addressed right now, but I will be back out there soon, that's a promise! Please know it wasn't an easy call, but it's definitely for the best. All other shows are still moving forward as planned. See you soon."

The singer has previously been open about her battles with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), a hormonal disorder common among women of reproductive age. PCOS can lead to an abnormal amount of androgens (male sex hormones) in the body, and its symptoms can significantly affect one's quality of life.

Monet recently mentioned on Instagram that she had "gained a lot of weight" following her Coachella performances, attributing it to her PCOS struggles. "PCOS has me really messed up," she added.

Despite the disappointment, Monet's commitment to her health and her determination to return to the stage remains clear. Her June schedule was initially set to begin with the Roots Picnic at the top of the month, followed by Governors Ball on June 9, and the inaugural Blavity House Party on June 15. Now, organizers of these events are working to find replacements, with fans eagerly suggesting alternatives such as Kehlani, Ari Lennox, or Jazmine Sullivan.

Blavity House Party producers expressed their heartfelt support for Monet, writing in their Instagram stories, "The BHP team is wishing you well and praying for your healing. Self-care is key."

As Monet focuses on her health, fans can look forward to her upcoming performances later this summer. She is still scheduled to perform at Broccoli City Fest in Washington D.C. on July 27, Lollapalooza in Chicago on Aug 1, and at Outside Lands in San Francisco on Aug 9.
