Candace Owens Urges Diddy Expose Hollywood 'Ring' in Response to Apology Video

The outspoken political commentator says she's 'willing to sweep a lot under the rug' if the Bad Boy Records founder starts 'naming names' after he apologized for his behavior to his ex Cassie.

AceShowbiz - Candace Owens is willing to forgive Sean "P. Diddy" Combs under one circumstance. The pro-Donald Trump activist has urged the embattled hip-hop mogul to expose Hollywood "ring" after he apologized for his behavior to his ex Cassie.

The conservative political commentator took to her page on X, formerly known as Twitter, to weigh in on Diddy's apology video. In her response, she wrote on Sunday, May 19, "Great to hear you're sorry, Diddy. Now do [The Notorious B.I.G.], plus the guy you *allegedly* shot in that bathroom, plus Kid Cudi's car you *allegedly* blew up: And whoever you were *allegedly* shooting at in the nightclub with [Jennifer Lopez]. For starters."

The 35-year-old TV presenter added in a separate tweet, "I'd be willing to sweep a lot under the rug if you did the first courageous thing in your life and named exactly who is operating the ring in Hollywood. Name names."

Candace Owens' Tweets

Candace Owens reacted to Diddy's apology video.

Candace previously supported Kanye West's conspiracy theory that Diddy was a "FED/CIDA asset" after footage surfaced of him assaulting his then-girlfriend Cassie at a hotel back in 2016. She wrote, "He's not in jail because he's a FED/CIA asset. Kanye tried to tell everyone."

Candace made the initial comment after DA's Office stated that it won't charge Diddy despite the "disturbing" assault video. The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office clarified that due to the statute of limitations on assault, the rapper won't be facing charges based on this incident.

Meanwhile, Diddy issued his apology earlier on Sunday. "I hit rock bottom -- but I make no excuses," he said in a video. "My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I was disgusted then when I did it. I'm disgusted now. I went and I sought out professional help. I got into going to therapy, going to rehab. I had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I'm so sorry. But I'm committed to be a better man each and every day. I'm not asking for forgiveness. I'm truly sorry."

Cassie's lawyer, however, wasn't convinced by Diddy's apology, saying in a statement, "Combs' most recent statement is more about himself than the many people he has hurt. When Cassie and multiple other women came forward, he denied everything and suggested that his victims were looking for a payday. That he was only compelled to 'apologize' once his repeated denials were proven false shows his pathetic desperation, and no one will be swayed by his disingenuous words."
