AceShowbiz - Meghan Markle sparked chatter with her choice of outfit while joining husband Prince Harry during their trip to Nigeria. On Friday, May 10, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex paid a visit to a school, but it was Meghan's dress that caught some people's attention.

For the occasion, the former star of "Suits" chose to wear a backless peach maxi dress by Heidi Merrick. Upon catching wind of her look, fans quickly noticed the ironic name of the dress as it's called the "Windsor."

Harry and Meghan used to live in Windsor Castle estate before they decided to quit their royal life in 2020. Considering that fact, some Internet users quickly trolled Meghan for her look at the event.

"But they have been trying to erase the Windsors from their lives completely, but here comes Mrs. Sussex wearing a dress called 'Windsor', haha!!" one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. "Im convinced she is doing this on purpose at this point. Infamy is her goal - not approval. She is taking a page out of Wallis's handbook," another person suggested.

"Did she really choose a dress called the Windsor Dress, or are you being cheeky for fun?" someone else asked, with the original user replying, "I am dead serious." Another royal fan, meanwhile, chimed in, "Done as a snub. DEFINITELY."

Meghan completed her style with a gold chain necklace. She also had a longer wooden bead necklace that looked identical with the one that Harry was wearing. As for her black hair, the mom of two twisted them back in a low ponytail to show off her vintage gold Lanvin button earrings.

That aside, Harry, who donned a gray button-down shirt and pants in matching color, and Meghan appeared to have so much fun during the visit. In a photo circulating online, they were seen enjoying a performance at Lightway Academy in Abuja, Nigeria.

The couple was also pictured taking part in activities with students during the visit. Not stopping there, Harry was seen playing a game while Meghan was cheering for him during the festive event.
