Despite Assaf not being visible on camera, Aoki made their relationship official by referring to him as her "baby" and "boyfriend." He also showed his affection when he was asked what his favorite part of the trip was. "You ... to be with you," he replied.

Clearly unbothered by the backlash over their 44-year age gap, she said she was "very happy." She added, "When I return home everybody who knows me will be getting a happier, more chilled-out version of me."

Meanwhile, when one fan compared her to Mary J. Blige, Assaf responded by mentioning that the RnB singer had wanted to date him, but Aoki quickly stopped him from divulging further details.
