AceShowbiz - Yet another actor has been arrested in connection with the January 6, 2021, assault on the U.S. Capitol. Nolan Freeman, known for small roles in shows like "NCIS" and "Shameless," is accused of entering the Capitol through a broken window as the 2020 election results were being certified.
An FBI surveillance camera image shows Freeman wearing a red hat, hoodie, and black jacket as he allegedly crawls through the window. Capitol CCTV footage also places him in various areas of the building, including the Upper House Door, Memorial Door, Crypt East, East Stairs, and Main Door Hall.
An investigation revealed that Freeman flew to Washington, D.C., on January 4 and returned to Nevada on January 8. Cell records indicate that his phone was present inside the Capitol during the attack.
In an interview with FBI agents last year, Freeman confirmed his cell phone number but declined to answer questions about his presence at the Capitol on January 6. He was arrested on March 19.
Freeman is facing four charges, including disorderly conduct within the Capitol. He is the seventh person from Nevada to be charged in connection with the January 6 attacks.
The FBI has apprehended over 1,300 individuals in nearly all 50 states and the District of Columbia for offenses related to the Capitol attack. Over 450 of them have been charged with assaulting or obstructing law enforcement.
In related news, "Bob's Burgers" voice actor Jay Johnston, who voiced Jimmy Pesto, was arrested for allegedly participating in a "group assault" during the attack. Former First Vice-Chair of the Republican Party of Los Angeles County, Siaka Massaquoi, was also arrested in connection with the attack based on cell phone footage he took of himself inside the Capitol.
