Sparking chatters online, the 74-year-old musician makes headlines for his look in a viral photo taken during his first show after he halted his world tour due to his peptic ulcer disease.

AceShowbiz - Is that you, Bruce Springsteen? The 74-year-old musician made headlines for his look in a viral photo taken on Tuesday, March 19, during his first show after he halted his world tour due to his peptic ulcer disease.

In the said picture, the singer hit the stage at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona in a half-buttoned red flannel and dark jeans. The snap quickly shocked fans as he looked paler than usual. In addition to his rather pallid complexion, Bruce debuted his new stark white hair.

Upon catching wind of the photo, fans quickly poked fun at the singer's new appearance. "That's Tilda Swinton," one fan joked. Another mentioned Ellen DeGeneres.

Someone else added, "I'm not even trying to be funny when I say I thought this was Megan Rapinoe," referring to the former winger of the USWNT. One person, meanwhile, claimed that the singer "looks freaking terrible."

Bruce's Phoenix show marked the first time he performed with the E Street Band after announcing show postponement in September 2023. After canceling some shows, Bruce eventually called off the remaining dates of his tour.

At the time, the 20-time Grammy winner shared in an Instagram post, "Bruce Springsteen has continued to recover steadily from peptic ulcer disease over the past few weeks and will continue treatment through the rest of the year on doctor's advice." He added, "With this in mind, and out of an abundance of caution, all remaining 2023 tour dates for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will be postponed until 2024."

During his concert in the city, Bruce told the crowd, "Phoenix, first I want to apologize if there was any discomfort because we had to move the show last time." He continued, "I hope we didn't inconvenience you too much."
