AceShowbiz - New details have surfaced in the wake of Karen Huger's car crash. "The Real Housewives of Potomac" star was involved in a car accident on Tuesday night, March 19 in Potomac, Maryland, and now pictures from the area surfaced online.
Based on the photos published by TMZ, the reality star seemed to have swerved off the road, leaving lots of skids and torn-up grass before hitting a tree. Her 2017 Maserati ended up taking a big chunk of the bark.
According to police, Karen was driving aggressively and speeding before the incident. She was alone in her vehicle and was not injured despite having struck multiple street signs.
The Bravo personality was officially charged with driving a vehicle while impaired by alcohol and driving while under the influence of alcohol. She is expected to make a mandatory court appearance soon.
Karen is also facing charges of negligently driving a vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner endangering property, life, and person, as well as recklessly driving a vehicle in wanton and willful disregard for the safety of persons and property.
Other charges include failure to control vehicle speed on the highway to avoid a collision, driving a vehicle in excess of reasonable and prudent speed on the highway, driving a vehicle on the highway with suspended registration, and failure to notify administration of change of address within 30 days. Karen, who has yet to address the car accident, was not arrested after the crash but she received several citations.
